Boston University offers vast and comprehensive opportunities for fitness, recreation, and sporting events. All LL.M. students are able to take advantage of those opportunities through classes, club and intramural sports, and the use of BU’s many facilities, including the brand-new Fitness and Recreation Center. Past LL.M. students have participated in classes ranging from aerobics, yoga, and weight training to sailing, ice skating, dance, and martial arts.

Yes, we have a stadium where international cricket matches have been held. Two smaller grounds, an Olympic sized swimming pool and other facilities a sports enthusiast might ask for. There are regular Intra and Inter IIT competitions besides tournaments such as the Sportstar trophy and the Gerhard Fischer-Kokila Rajaiah Cup.

The school students may choose from a wide option of sports and games. these include cricket, football, hockey, badminton, table tennis, basketball, athletics, horse riding and martial arts like judo etc.

Just about any sport you want is catered for. The Hash House Harriers (running through the jungle) are very popular, as is tennis, swimming, scuba diving, squash, football, rugby, golf, etc. The facilities are very good and quite cheap.

To relax and keep in shape, you can use the sports facilities we have at ITAM: a gym with weightlifting equipment, showers and lockers; speed soccer, basketball and volleyball, in addition to a multi-purpose room. Both internal and external tournaments are regularly organized. You can also register for any of the aerobics, dance and yoga classes, that are offered. Students, professors or employees need only to have a valid student ID card to make use of these services.

The Robertson Sports Centre at Thornly Park Halls of Residence incorporates a hall equipped for sports from badminton to volleyball as well as floodlit all-weather and grass pitches outdoors. In addition, there's an excellent fitness suite onsite, plus a tennis and squash club nearby. Students can use the centre's assets on their own or as members of the University's many sports clubs and societies. Some facilities are suitable for use by disabled people.

There are a lot of good sports facilites at UIC. One of the centers has recently come up and houses state of the art gym, swimming pool and other courts. Most RAF bases have a range of facilities, including a gym. Some have swimming pools and bowling alleys. Some also have facilities for more adventurous activities, such as climbing walls or gliding clubs.

All campuses have a ‘clubs day’ where university sports clubs provide information for students wanting to find out about sports that are available.

The risk of transmission and subsequent infection from meningitis bacteria between people participating in sporting activites together is extremely low. However, during the period of 4 weeks from the appearance of the last case, it would be sensible for teams that spend a prolonged period in close contact during sport to desist from sharing water bottles or drinking vessels. Otherwise, normal sporting life should continue including fixtures with outside teams.
