The sample return capsule, still attached to the main Genesis spacecraft, will be aligned to its proper entry orientation about six hours before entry. At that time it will be spun to 15 revolutions per minute, adding stability for its descent into Earth's atmosphere. The capsule will be released two hours later. After the capsule is released, the main spacecraft will be diverted so it cannot collide with the sample return capsule.

The Genesis sample, consisting of protons, ions and atoms from the Sun, does not pose any risk to the Earth. The National Research Council's Space Studies Board determined that the sample has no potential for containing life or other material of concern. The samples are handled in clean rooms to protect them from contamination by Earth material -- not the other way around. They will be housed for study at the Advanced Curation Laboratory at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston.

The heat from the earth's core continuously flows outward. It transfers (conducts) to the surrounding layer of rock, the mantle. When temperatures and pressures become high enough, some mantle rock melts, becoming magma. Then, because it is lighter (less dense) than the surrounding rock, the magma rises (convects), moving slowly up toward the earth's crust, carrying the heat from below. Sometimes the hot magma reaches all the way to the surface, where we know it as lava.

For me the metal is ready to weld once it and the flux looks like a pat of butter under a broiler that is just starting to melt. try the buttrer thing first so you know. Once you get the metal to the anvil hit it, but hit it fairly lightly. It will have a fairly mush sound. But once you have a good weld it will have a more solid sound. But before welding I would suggest that you practise your movements etc first. So that you will know precisly what you are to do, and can do it with out thinking.

Well, at school in year 7 we had table groups, and we had to come up with a name. Ours was really long (thought up by me! :D) but for security reasons, I cannot tell you what it is ;~; . Our statisticians have determined that a minimum sample of 100 is sufficient to allow us to report statistically-meaningful differences among models. Seasons are caused by the inclination of a planet's rotational axis relative to the plane of its orbit around the sun. Earth's axis is inclined 23.5 degrees. On the first day of summer in the northern hemisphere, Earth's north pole is tilted 23.5 degrees toward the sun, so the northern hemisphere receives more sunlight. Half a year later, on the first day of winter, Earth's north pole is tilted away from the sun, so the northern hemisphere receives less sunlight.

The closest approach is only to within 0.1 astronomical units (about 15 million kilometers (10 million miles) or 40 times the Earth-Moon distance), and it only gets this close every few hundred years. Over the next year, Cruithne won't get any closer than 0.3 astronomical units, and at this point it will be almost directly beneath the Earth's South Pole (this is possible due to the asteroid's inclined orbit).
