Starting with the delivery of Algorithm Version 4 in 2005, AIRS Instrument Team began to produce two types of retrievals due to the failure of HSB on February 5, 2003. Data types that encompass retrievals using HSB data will have "H" letter in the short name of the data type, e.g. AIRH2RET. Retrievals without HSB have the familar names, e.g. AIRX2RET. Documentation is associated with the Version of the Algorithm, which is embedded in the data filenames.

A little. For example the System.GC class exposes a Collect method, which forces the garbage collector to collect all unreferenced objects immediately. Also there is a gcConcurrent setting that can be specified via the application configuration file. This specifies whether or not the garbage collector performs some of its collection activities on a separate thread. The setting only applies on multi-processor machines, and defaults to true.

If all data in one of your columns contain numbers with the exception of several values, Wizard will identify this column as numeric. These several values will be identified as misplaced and records containing them will be removed. The same is true for other types of columns.

CRC32 and ADLER32 are good algorithms for data integrity when speed is a concern. For better accuracy MD5 would be the choice. You can use any algorithm for data integrity, however you should take into consideration that some of them are slow by design and would take a considerable amount of time for a large amount of data.

In most cases you do not need to set the garbage collector at all, it is already set to the default dynamic (Xgcprio:throughput) garbage collector; however, for some applications, you could have specific needs, such as a need for short pause times. All NASA Earth Observing System (EOS) mission data including AIRS data is freely available to the public. Anyone can order these data products free of charge.

Recognizing that the value of data often depends on their timeliness, data sharing should occur in a timely fashion. NIH expects the timely release and sharing of data to be no later than the acceptance for publication of the main findings from the final dataset. This time point will be influenced by the nature of the data collected. Data from small studies can be analyzed and submitted for publication relatively quickly.

Airs is a tool for video coding. You listen (or watch) an audio (or video) file, and after each event occurring in the movie—be it a sentence spoken by a person in the movie or some action taken—you pause the movie in order to assign to the event some attributes. In other words, you divide the movie into (usually very small) parts, called utterances, and fill out a questionary for each of them.

All data is stored in an encrypted password protected storage, strong AES 256bit algorithm is used for encryption. It means that nobody who does not know the password has any chance to access your sensitive information. You can read more about AES in Wikipedia, and one of the benefits of the AES algorithm is that it is widely used by different government and business organizations all over the world.

Airs runs on MacOS 10.4.3 and higher (on PowerPC or Intel). There is no Windows version available, and there are no plans to port Airs to Windows or Linux. Please notice, however, that the statistical data output by Airs is compatible with (the MacOS and Windows version of) Microsoft Excel, OpenOffice, and others. So while you do have to use MacOS to run Airs, you can (if you really want) use your favourite application on Windows to perform the actual statistical analysis.

Data capture is when you go to field and capture locations with features and attributes associated with them. Data maintenance is when you have spatial information in a GIS file that you upload into a device and then update in the field. Market research indicates that more people today are maintaining data than collecting new data.

All versions of CoCASA 3.0 and later allow user to import data from versions 2.1 and 2.0. (This is not a feature that was possible with earlier versions of CoCASA). However, users are unable to import data from 3.0 and 3.1 into older versions.

The source code has not been cleared for public release at this time. The plan is to release the source code in the future, via Direct Broadcast contacts, but no schedule has been established for the release of Level 2 code. Each database varies. Several are updated weekly, monthly or quarterly. Most are updated annually, usually the same time each year. This is, of course, a variable statistic. However, using the baseline of a 2x 450 PII with 512 MB RM as the collector, a full initial collection will require 8 to 12 minutes from initiation to completion of database inserts. This example uses all of the default filters. Second collection from the same machine will only take 10 seconds to 1 minute, because ECM collects changes exclusively.
