Are there such things as commercial PSX ROMs?

Emulation FAQ: ROMs
Yes, and no. It is possible to dump a Playstation ISO file (the entire CD's data in one big binary file), but it would be big, as in 650mb. It may be possible to strip the ROMs as well, removing/replacing the movies and cd tracks (which mostly takes up the space). However, no site would distribute them due to server space and bandwidth reasons. Maybe a warez site will someday host them... but I stay away from those, I wouldn't know. Homebrewn demos are legally available, though.

How does designation affect things like commercial signage, lighting, or storefront windows?

Frequently Asked Questions
Just like residential structures, commercial buildings are reviewed and changes must be approved. Storefront windows are usually part of the architectural character of the building and would be looked at as any other existing window. The Commission, for example, constantly is reviewing commercial buildings in Center City. The Commission allows for requirements such as ADA, etc.

Why doesn't Zophar's Domain distribute commercial ROMs?

Emulation FAQ: ROMs
We here at Zophar's Domain do not want any legal trouble. ROM sites have been threatened by the ISDA, and have been taken down. We don't want any of that. We have no authorization to distribute copyrighted software. ROM distribution also takes up a disgusting amount of bandwidth, and Malicia wouldn't be too fond of that.

Can you burn me custom or partial sets made up of things that are offered on your "ROMs" page?

ROM-Burner FAQ
Sorry, no. In order to keep up with requests and not have this service dominate all of my time, I burn strictly from the disc images I've prepared for every set that I offer. The only custom set I've ever done was one for unemulated laserdisc files for possible future DAPHNE releases. Sorry, but for the sake of consistency, I don't burn those under any circumstance.
