What pickups do you recommend?
Frequently asked questionsResonator guitars are feedback machines, which makes electronically amplifying them tricky. We use Highlander pickups in our single cone, tricone and spider cone guitars because they have been engineered specifically for our instruments. The single cone pickup is called the IP-1X; the tricone pickup is the Magnophonic and we now have a spider-cone pickup for our Model D. When requested, we will install the pickup at the time we make the guitar or we can retrofit one in later.

If you have a guitar with two pickups and two volume pots, with a three-way switch, there is another alternative.
