My most rewarding experience had to do with a parrot that had its crop burned through to the outside by food that was microwaved. It was a big problem. This summer you will have opportunities to join the ongoing outreach to our Kurdish friends here in Nashville and join with one of our key partners, World Relief, to minister to refugees. Why Nashville? Of the 100,000+ internationals living in Nashville, there is a community of somewhere between 5,000 and 7,000 Kurds. World Relief resettles approximately 250 refugees from Sudan, Somalia, Burma, Iraq, and other countries.
