We print books in both paperback and hardcover (with or without dust jackets). We will recommend the binding that we feel is correct for your book and its market.

When deciding which format to put a particular book into we carefully consider the nature of the text and who is likely to purchase it. As hardback is more expensive it is unsuitable for student texts. We often put practitioner texts into some form of hardback as this makes them more durable. However, this does have an impact on the price of the work and additionally is only suitable for texts over a certain size.

Well it is obviously illegal to bring the pirated CD's (specially if you have software on the CD's) but chance of you being caught are very remote i guess. Even if you get caught i feel what they'll do atmost is throw away your CDs and stuff. That's really difficult to answer these days, because eBay, the enormously popular online auction site has radically changed the collectibles market in the past several years. So I think going there and doing a search for the item you're curious about is the best way to find out what people are charging and paying for it. The best way to be sure of getting a hardback copy of the book is to buy it as soon as it comes out. The hardbacks are allowed to go out of print when the paperback copies come out approximately one year later. If you are looking for hardbacks of the US editions of the Farseer Trilogy, they simply do not exist.

The last major publishing was in the 1980's by Ace-Charter paperbacks, and it would make sense to reprint them again if a new TV series appears in 2007 or 2008. In the meantime, the Advanced Book Exchange (Abebooks.com) has a great wealth of collectible and reading editions for you to read first-hand about The Saint's adventures. McCammon doesn't sign books sent through the mail, so the only ways to get signed books are to catch him at one of the planned book-signing appearances he'll be doing in 2002, or to purchase signed copies from book dealers. You can often find signed editions of McCammon's books for sale on eBay (though I'd stay away from other auction sites---the asking prices are way too high on all the others, though I don't know why).
