What is the timeline of UNC’s review by the NCAA?

A steering committee is guiding the activities of subcommittees that are gathering data and drafting the self-study, a process that takes several months. A final report will be submitted to the NCAA in May 2006 and an NCAA review team will conduct a campus visit in Fall 2006. A final decision on UNC’s certification status will be made public by the NCAA most likely in Spring 2007.
