Clairvoyance is a term given to describe the act of clear sight. A clairvoyant medium 'sees pictures' in their mind and relays what they see to to other people.

Also called clear-seeing or second sight. Clairvoyance is the ability to see into the future or to know things that cannot be discovered through the normal senses. The process of clairvoyance is described as seeing images in your mind as though on a video screen, or even seeing energy forms externally, projected from your inner vision. They may be scenes, people known or unknown, symbols, such as those you might have see when looking into a candle flame or reading tea leaves!

The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition defines clairvoyant as: Basically, I use my third eye to see pictures inside my head that give me the answers to the question you are asking. Look at it like this: when you dream you have seen pictures with your third eye the way I see them in the reading. Sometimes they are crystal clear, sometimes they are vague and blurry.

If all energy, specifically in the form of electrons, is linked on a sub-molecular level within the electromagnetic spectrum this would, theoretically, form a world-wide "net" of mental electrical energy.
