For the BVC awards the candidates for interview are selected over the Christmas vacation and during January. You will receive notification by letter in late January/early February to let you know the outcome. For the CPE awards you will receive notification of whether or not you have been selected for an interview by the end of June.

There is no definite answer to this question. You will be selected only if/when an investigator who has a position available visits the database and is impressed with your credentials. On or about May 15, those who have not been selected will be informed via e-mail. Remember, there is no central selection committee for this program.

On-campus interviews are organized through the Office of Career Services and therefore require notification by the employer to OCS before the interview date. If you have submitted a resume to take part in an on-campus interview, the Office of Career Services will contact you through SIPATRAK regarding your status for the interview. Regardless of whether or not you have been selected, you will be contacted.

If you meet the all job requirements and pass any required test or rating, your name will be added to the eligibles list or register. There are eligibles lists for all announced job titles. Your "rank" or position on the list is determined by your most recent score. Ranks can change as eligibles are added and removed (time expires) from the list. Your name will remain on the list for one (1) year from your most recent eligibility date.

All applicants will be notified of Honoree selection by May. Information will be mailed to the address that you provide on your application.

Usually within 10 days. You will fall into one of three categories: Conditional offer, Reserve or Non-select. If you are a reserve candidate, your name will be held on a list and you will be told by the end of July if we can offer you an award.

We will contact by phone the candidates we are interested in bringing to the Corporate office for a second interview. Keep in mind that many times a student interviews on campus in the Fall semester and a second interview cannot be scheduled until the Spring semester. After the second interview at the Corporate office, candidates are notified of their status within two weeks.

You will receive all preliminary correspondence from our program via email - So check your email frequently. Once your ERAS application and supporting documents have been reviewed by the Program Director, you will either be granted an interview or your application will be placed on hold for a second review in 2-3 weeks. Once you have been granted an interview, you will receive an invitation via email with instructions to select an interview date.

There is not a standard notification date for potential interviewees. Generally, notification is received in March or April. If you are selected for an interview, the Program Coordinator will contact you by phone or email.

Whether or not you have been selected to interview, you will be contacted within three weeks of the application deadline date.

Answer: Interview typically occur in late February or early March, on a Saturday morning. Those to be interviewed will be contacted via phone or e-mail at least two weeks ahead of time to schedule the interview. Interviews are conducted separately with two practicing school counselors, and current students are also available to answer questions about the program. A tour of UB's North Campus is also available for those who may not be familiar with campus.

Applications will be reviewed by an expert panel representing extensive teaching, performance, experience, publishing, and exhibiting arts professionals. Final decisions will be made by the Commission. All applicants will be notified by April 30, 2008. Do not call or email about your application status until after April 30, 2008.

The fellowship committee begins to review files after all admissions decisions have been made. You will be notified by regular mail as soon as recipients have been identified, generally in mid to late March. Unfortunately, we are unable to release funding information by phone or e-mail.

Your advisor will notify you via e-mail when the selection letters have been sent to your college mailbox.

Everyone who applied to the program will be contacted by the end of April annually. All selections for the program will be made prior to the beginning of May annually.

If you are coming to one of our permanent StoryBooths (New York City, Milwaukee, and Nashville) we encourage you to come back with different family members or friends as many times as you like. On the MobileBooth Tour, however, we have a limited time in each city. We ask that you limit your time to one interview so that we can accommodate as many voices as possible within the time constraints.

Interview season is December – February; interview invitations will be issued 2 – 6 weeks before the scheduled interview date. MSTP admission decisions are made on a modified rolling basis; most students can expect to hear something within 6 weeks after their interview.

Applicants chosen for an interview will receive a phone call or e-mail notification to schedule an interview within the next 3-4 weeks (Feb.1-Mar 1).

Applicants who are not selected for interviews will be notified by the office conducting the interviews.

Interview sign ups are on a first-come, first-serve basis. An employer will accept a number of candidates to interview that matches the interview of interview time slots that the employer has chosen. Often, an employer will then chose two to three additional alternate interview candidates that are unable to sign up for interviews until 2 days after accepted interview candidates are notified.

Once final candidates have been selected, every effort is made to send an email notification promptly to the applicants who are not receiving final interviews; however, notification is not guaranteed.
