Seattle's Neighborhood Matching Fund Program is a partnership between the City of Seattle and neighborhood-based organizations. Grants to non-day school institutions may be considered for matching funds if they are for programs that will benefit or support Jewish day school education. A committee comprised of representatives from MATCH will make the final decision as to the eligibility of these grants. Eligible grants may be in support of program or operating expenses. Grants to endowment funds at a Jewish day school or in support of a Jewish day school are also eligible.

Eligible grants will be matched at a rate of 1:2. This means that for every U.S. dollar granted by a donor, MATCH will provide an additional $.50. The application process will begin on September 15, 2005. Matching funds will only be available for grants paid after October 15, 2005. To be considered for funding applications must be submitted online by 3:00 p.m. EST on January 13, 2006. Matching grant recipients and awards will be announced by JFN on or about January 31, 2006.
