Did you really ask your readers to give you a year's salary?
something positive: frequently asked questionsOkay, here's the story about the notorious donation drive. In January of 2003, I got it in my head that if I asked my readers to donate a year's salary, I'd quit my day job and work on the comic. I'd offer a free section of the site and oh, it would be glorious! It didn't work. No biggie. It didn't hurt me, either. I endeed up unemployed for a little while, but was able to survive thanks to reader kindness. Flash forward to May of 2004.

Related QuestionsHow is the salary cap set each year?
NBA Salary Cap FAQEach July the league projects Basketball Related Income (BRI) and benefits for the upcoming season. They take a defined percentage of projected BRI (see the chart below), subtract projected benefits (about $112 million in 2005-06), and make adjustments based on whether the previous season's BRI was above or below projections. They then divide by the number of NBA teams (except expansion teams in their first two seasons) to arrive at the cap.

NBA Salary Cap FAQHis actual salary is included in the team salary. BYC is used only when comparing salaries for trades. There's no specific rule that prohibits trading base year players in a two-team deal. But the way the numbers work, it's not always possible unless one of the teams dumps additional salary onto a third team. an example, let's say Player A plays for Washington. He earned $3 million last season and re-signed as a free agent for $10 million.

Related QuestionsWhy did you ask if I get my medication from my vet, is there a difference?
Frequently Asked QuestionsYes, please be aware that all flea/tick medication, heartworm preventative and other prescriptions should be purchased thru your veterinarian or local pharmacy, not from an internet source. I do not want to worry that your pet can become ill with inferior products. These products are not backed by the drug manufacturer. Buying from the internet voids the warranty. If the medication doesn't work or injures your pet, the big drug companies are not responsible.
