mentioned above, the Colonial Schipperke Club is very active in finding homes for "pre-owned" Schipperkes. These are Schips who for reasons normally not of their making, have lost their people. They may be lost or stolen dogs, dogs who suffer from the deaths or divorces of their owners, or dogs who are given up for a variety of reasons by their original owners. Colonial members often provide foster care or brokering services to match up these dogs with new owners.

Bearded Collie Rescue FAQ
First of all, you will not be rescuing a Bearded Collie unless you are actually out visiting shelters or searching dog pounds. More likely you will be adopting from Bearded Collie Rescue or another organization that has rescued the dog in some manner (from kill shelters, abandoned, or even from people who advise they are taking the dog to a shelter and offering Rescue a chance to take it before they do).

Not to mention trailer maintenance, tires, insurance, gas for hauling, telephone bills and truck or trailer repairs.

Rescue Inhalers: How Often Is Too Often?

Frequently Asked Questions about Asthma
Researchers are trying to find out exactly why ozone has an impact on asthma and what to do about it. There's an on-site testing technique for exercise-induced asthma that screens athletes while in their natural environment. Many suffering from asthma also suffer from acid reflux. Research is underway to see if treating the GERD will ease the asthma. A theory suggests that early exposure to environmental allergens boosts the immune system and reduces the risk for asthma.

How do you rescue the animals?

PMMC - FAQ
All of the animals at PMMC were found stranded on the beaches, jetties or oil platforms along the coast that we serve. When we are notified of a stranded animal, we rescue it only if there is cause to do so. While it is quite normal for a pinniped to come out onto land and rest, it is not normal for them to do so in populated areas nor is it normal for them to allow humans anywhere near them.

Why all those questions on the Rescue Application?

Bearded Collie Rescue FAQ
Quite honestly, Rescue first determines if you should have any sort of dog. Then determines if a Bearded Collie is the right dog for you. Have you read our section reasons you may not want to own one ? Just as with a breeder, Rescue wants the Beardie to have a good home. They don't want to find it at the shelter again. Many of these dogs came into rescue because they ran away in the first place.

I want a Rescue Puppy, how often are they available?

Bearded Collie Rescue FAQ
Some approach rescue as an alternative to going to a Breeder, and happily tell the rescue person or fill in an application saying "I want a rescue puppy." You should know that very rarely does rescue get a puppy under a year old. It happens of course, but with Bearded Collies it may be a years between rescue puppies. Owners tend to keep puppies inside and watch them carefully. Puppies don't have the urge to run like some adults do.

Q8. Do the dogs you rescue shed?

Arizona Retriever Rescue - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
A8. Absolutely! Goldens shed a little all year round and twice a year they lose most of their coat. Anyone intent on a "hair free" home, should reconsider getting a Golden. Their coat requires brushing of at least once a week. Their hair can be long and can become matted if it isn't properly cared for. A thorough grooming to trim the hair on the paws, tail, and around the ears needs to be done on a monthly basis.

What is animal rescue?

Dalmatian Adoption and Rescue
Often times, when people hear the term "animal rescue," or more specifically "dog rescue," they immediately think of search and rescue--that is, animals employed in the use of locating people lost in the wilderness or by some other peril, such as natural disaster. Animal rescue (dog rescue, cat rescue, horse rescue, etc.) is different. It is people rescuing animals from peril, such as threat of euthanasia by animal shelters and other at-risk situations.

How much do you charge?

Frequently Asked Questions| Davis Law Group
Our fee is contingent on the outcome of your case. That is, if a recovery is obtained for you, our fee is a percentage (usually one-third) of the amount collected. No attorney fees will be paid if there is no recovery. However, the law requires that a client is ultimately responsible for the costs incurred. In most cases, our office will advance all costs necessary to pursue your claim so you will not have to pay any money up front.

The Oracle Band FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions on booking ...
Yup...this is almost always the first question people ask. Surprisingly enough, you won't find the answer to this question on most bands' websites. Why? Because they want to find out how much they can get out of you before committing to a price. We don't work that way. Our rate is $2200 for a four hour function in the Maryland / DC/ Northern Virginia area. We are proud of the value we offer at a rate that is considerably lower than that charged by most other bands (and some DJs).

Well, why do you charge for yours?

Aunt Julie Pet Communicator - FAQs
Yes, you. That includes anyone who: works at a gas station, does massage, walks dogs for others, waits tables, drives a bus, does nursing, inputs data into a computer, does phone sales, fights fires, DJs at parties - you name it. Why does anyone charge for anything? Money is the oil which lubes society's gears, occurrences, exchanges of goods and services, etc. I can't eat goodwill, nor can you work your workweek on a volunteer basis.

Why do you only rescue Golden Retrievers?

Frequently Asked Questions - FAQ's - Yankee Golden Retriever...
The unwanted pet problem in the U.S. is too great for any one person or agency to solve. However, if each of us takes responsibility for working on a piece of the problem, we can make a difference. In addition to providing direct services to Goldens, YGRR provides indirect assistance to other purebred dogs by providing lists of breed rescues in the All Breed Rescue section of this Web site. By removing Goldens promptly from pounds and shelters, we free up space for other homeless dogs.
