No. Every student has an LMU student account. The Student Health Center will bill this student account for services rendered, such as medicines, lab work and x-rays. The Kansas Board of Regents offers student health insurance through a Statewide Student Insurance Program. Health care services can be costly, often accruing medical care bills quickly. As a student at K-State, a student health fee is included in your tuition each semester. The Student Health Fee allows the student to see a healthcare provider at Lafene Health Center free of charge.
