For best printing results, please make sure that your image file resolution should be 250 to 300 DPI (Dots Per Inch).

If you are preparing a document for print, make sure your image files are set to at least 300 dpi (you can check this in Adobe Photoshop under image, size). If you have imported a graphic from another source and the dpi is already set at a lower resolution, you cannot efficiently raise the resolution. Please acquire the original artwork to be scanned in. Web graphics will typically be set to 72 dpi to allow for quick loading.

Minimum resolution recommended is 300dpi or better. 72, 150, 200 are not acceptable resolutions for printing.

The most suitable resolution of VGA for video conversion is 640x480. It is recommended that the maximal color depth is used - 24 bit color, representing 16.7 million colors. Higher VGA resolutions, when converted to video, loose some information because there are no more available video pixels.

Resolution determines the quality of your image. Image file resolution is measured in PPI (pixels per inch) where pixels (picture elements) are a single point in a graphic image. Therefore, the density of pixels has an impact on image quality and print size. In general, the higher the PPI, the better your image will reproduce when it is printed.

We provide repeat image files in EPS (vector) and tiff (bitmap) formats. The tiff files are full size at 300-350 dpi, and the EPS files can be sized to any size and resolution with no loss of detail. For photographic and fine art editions, our ideal file format is a flattened RGB tiff. We also accept jpegs, PDFs, and native Adobe PhotoShop formats. Optimum image resolution is 300-360 dpi at the final size to be printed. Resolution below 150 dpi may show pixilation. Display and design files can be submitted in most popular design programs, such as InDesign, Illustrator, or Quark. Please accompany design files with image links and fonts (or outlined fonts).

This is probably one of the more popular questions we get asked, if you are setting up your image at size, 300ppi up to an image size of 30x40 is fine. Anything larger than 30x40, 150ppi to 250ppi is plenty of resolution. Keep in mind the larger you go, the less resolution is required from you file as very large prints are meant to be viewed from a distance. General rule of thumb, the diagonal dimension of the final image, is the MINIMUM viewing distance.
