How do the STARS select a trading pin?
Maryland STARSThe STARS hold a contest each year where players, coaches, parents, etc. can submit drawings, sketches, and diagrams of proposed pins. Then each player votes to determine the winner. The winning entry is then submitted to the artist of the select vendor and finalized. Each player is given a number of pins to trade and also the opportunity to purchase more at cost.
