We don’t recommend that formula be fed again once a baby has nursed from the bottle. During a feeding, the baby's saliva can come in contact with the formula in the bottle. The enriched nutrients found in infant formula can create an excellent breeding ground for microorganisms to grow.

According to the US Department of Agriculture, the majority of milk products originating from countries affected with Foot and Mouth Diseases are prohibited; however, Plant Protection and Quarantine has been instructed to provide some exceptions including "Milk and milk products intended for use by infants or very young children are enterable (into the U.S.) if in a reasonable or small quantity for several days' use".

No. Once a baby has nursed from a bottle, microorganisms from the baby's mouth are introduced into the formula. If any unused portion of formula is refrigerated and reheated, these microorganisms will have the opportunity to multiply. Neither refrigeration nor reheating will prevent this growth. Therefore, you should fill each bottle with only the amount of formula needed for one feeding. After feeding, if any formula remains unused in the bottle, it should be discarded.

Baby bottle tooth decay is the creation of many cavities on your baby's teeth so that only the "stumps" of the teeth can be seen. This condition can occur after only a few weeks of putting your baby to sleep with milk or juice in his or her baby bottle.
