Each department has its own professional advisers, who are experts in everything relating to your academic requirements: credit checks, degree requirements, which professors teach which classes, etc. These advisers are available to meet with you as frequently as you would like, to help you plan your classes and address any of your academic questions. In addition to these departmental advisers, faculty members serve as unofficial mentors for students.

Women, Gender, and Sexuality has a very strong advising system. Junior concentrators for the 2006-07 academic year are advised by the Acting Director of Studies (Karen Flood). Sophomores and seniors are advised by the Assistant Director (Linda Schlossberg). Pre-concentrators or students interested in the program should contact the main office for information on advising.

All degree and certificate seeking students in College of General Studies are assigned an advisor when admitted. The CGS advisors are full-time professionals, from various backgrounds, trained in academic program planning and familiar with university and college requirements and policies. Students work with their advisor until they graduate or transfer to another college at the university.

All Physics and Chem/Phys concentrators automatically have Howard Georgi (Head Tutor) and David Morin (Asst Head Tutor) as advisors. You can talk with them about anything at any time, ranging from course selection, to future plans, to lab work, to concentration requirements. In addition, all concentrators are given another faculty advisor (who may be Prof Georgi). The purpose of the faculty advisor is to act as a mentor, and to help you down the physics or chem/phys path.

Upon initiating dialog, you will be given choices to select from, usually at least three different ones. Further choices will depend on the first answers, as well as your charisma or other statistics. We figured this was better for the story, and it avoids the frustrating "I don't understand thee" NPC answers as you try and find the proper keywords.

The E501 is equipped with a socalled 'RJ11 expansion port'. This expansion port can be used for connection to an external temperature sensor or to an external communication interface. Currently one type of communication interface box is available. This is the isolated RS232 interface. Nine of the district’s elementary schools operate on a year-round schedule. Students attend classes the same number of days annually as those on a traditional schedule, but their vacations are divided into three one-month segments during the year. Each school has four tracks of students. While three tracks are in school, one track is on vacation. This allows a campus designed for 750 students to comfortably house 1,000.

We offer family medicine faculty advisors as a service to third and fourth year medical students who plan to enter family medicine residency training. This allows students to work with a trusted faculty advocate, receive confidential advice and suggestions for how to proceed with development of personal statements, residency interviews and developing a match list. As students complete medical school, many feel confused and lost as they go through the process of residency selection.

ASDB provides a sign language environment. All instruction is provided in sign language. American Sign Language (ASL) and print English are both addressed, taught, promoted and respected. Tucson Campus ASD students are very diverse. Some come to the Tucson Campus from oral programs; these students quickly learn sign language and receive ASL instruction. Some students have cochlear implants.

We aim to maintain open, honest, timely, and respectful communication with you about your child and about information affecting the school community. There are two regularly scheduled parent-teacher (or in the case of older students, parent-teacher-student) conferences each year, accompanied by written summaries, and a year-end written progress report. In the event of special concerns, your child's teacher will contact you to discuss these concerns by phone, by e-mail, or in person.

Many Parent Centers have lending libraries. If yours does, they may loan you a book or a video. They may also suggest specific organizations or specialists working in the area of your daughter's disability. The PTI/CPRC may offer to review your child's school records with you. Together, you can see if anything is unclear or appears to be missing.

Every major has three kinds of classes: major requirements, distribution requirements (taken outside of the SoC), and electives. Roughly one third of your classes fall into each category. If it seems like a lot of classes to remember to take, don't worry.

Once an advisor has been assigned, the student must confer with the advisor each semester prior to registration to ensure that the student is taking the appropriate course work in the proper sequence. The Advanced AMR Technologies network uses a wide area VHF/UHF 2 watt radio in the 150-170/450-470 MHz private wireless bands to collect information and/or control devices for a region. The system communicates via patented, two-way, self-configuring, multi-hop wireless routers located at each monitoring site.   Each wireless router detects, stores, and sends the information from up to four utility meters every 15 minutes to an IP Link.
