The first series was initially released on Region 2 format in the UK across four single-DVDs in May, June, August, and September 2005 in extras-less 'vanilla' format. Yes, the PHC DVD's will be very different from the Chosen Road DVD series currently for sale. Though not a replacement for the Chosen Road Video Series, the PHC DVD's do allow us to incorporate KC's most recent work. KC's research is on going. We would also like to see every episode released on video/DVD. However, the BBC will want to make a profit on releasing any new tapes/discs. And realistically, the market for Yes (Prime) Minister episodes is a lot smaller than for comedies such as Absolutely Fabulous or Blackadder. This certainly applies to regions such as the Middle East, Africa or South America. The only thing we can do is continue to ask the BBC to release the remaining episodes.
