You can delete all of your recent searches by clicking on "Remove All" below your recent searches. To delete individual searches, click on the trash can icon that follows each search. You can turn this feature off by clicking "Turn Off" below your recent searches.

Frequent MapQuest users often create routes to and from the same address(es). To make it easier, MapQuest saves your ten most recent address searches. You don't have to do anything special... it happens automatically! On the Map form page you can generate a map from a recent search by selecting one from the right side of the form. On the Map results page recent searches are available beneath the map in a dropdown menu for creating a route to or from the mapped address.

Please go to the Preferences page on Dogpile and click Recent Searches Off, and save your settings. This will remove the list of recent searches from your results pages.

For privacy purposes - especially when using a public computer - you may choose to clear your recent searches when you've finished using MapQuest. Recent accuracy is a measure of how well Defensio has been performing on your blog lately. It is computed by subtracting out the errors (false postives and false negatives) over the last 7 days of comment activity on your blog, and dividing this by the total comment traffic over that period. The "Buy!" option enables a golfer to purchase an auction immediately. When you select to "Buy!" an auction, you will pay the listed "Buy!" price and the auction will end once you have confirmed that you would like to utilize this feature. Your confirmation e-mail will be sent to you shortly after the auction closes. Most of our databases will allow you to email specific citations to yourself. On the web versions of databases, there is usually an icon at the top or bottom of the screen for an email option. In the telnet versions you will usually be offered an email option after you hit the print command. Use the help command in each database for more detailed instructions. Most of the libraries which have microfiche or microfilm collections have machines that can print selected pages for 10 cents.

Sundial will only display 100 names with a search. If you simply click the search button with no search criteria it pulls up 100 names more or less at random. What you need to do is give it some clue about who you are searching for. For example, if you enter a "Br" in the "Given Name" field Sundial will display all users whose first names start with "Br". Enter just an "H" in the Surname field and Sundial will display all users whose last names start with "H".

Crashing when searching for files usually means that a DWI file is badly formatted. To detect which, use the "/log" command-line argument (see below) and examine the "dwi2.log" file in a text-editor such as Notepad. The last lines in the file should tell you what DWI file it failed on. This file probably is missing ";"s after a tag somewhere, or has freeze arrows that don't end correctly. Either fix the problem or remove the song, and try rebuilding your songlist again.
