Don't worry, it's not paint. The inside surfaces of our grill lids are not painted, they are coated with baked-on porcelain enamel which cannot peel. What you are noticing is a deposit of grease and smoke that collects during normal use. During use, the grease and smoke vapors slowly oxidize into carbon and collect on the inside of your lid. This deposit will eventually peel, and looks very similar to paint. The peeling normally starts in the center of the lid and spreads outward.

Canned food can safely be recanned if the unsealed jar is discovered within 24 hours. To re-can, remove the lid and check the jar sealing surface for tiny nicks. Change the jar; if necessary, add a new treated lid and reprocess using the same processing time.

A Low Impact Development (LID) best management practice (BMP) is a stormwater management strategy concerned with maintaining or restoring the natural hydrologic functions of a site to achieve natural resource protection objectives and fulfill environmental regulatory requirements. LID BMPs employ a variety of natural and built features that reduce the rate of runoff, filter out its pollutants, and facilitate the infiltration of water into the ground.

Stormwater management presents a wide array of complex ecosystem and human health protection challenges. Many of these are not addressed by conventional stormwater technology or approaches, even as communities already struggle with the economic reality of funding aging and ever-expanding stormwater infrastructure. Adding the restoration of stream quality in densely developed watersheds is even more daunting.

We can accept pink lids with small tears, so long as you send in the whole lid. Please don't send in partial lids.

Lower eyelid retraction, like lower lid ectropion, is caused by a compromised support system but also by the shrinkage of any of several tissue layers (skin, muscle, retractors). This is the date of manufacture (i.e. the date the cheese was put in the can). It is not an expiration date. If the cheese is unopened and refrigerated, it should last indefinitely. The date on the lid is a suggested sell-by date. It is not the date that the yogurt will “expire” or “go bad”. Up until this date, we feel that our yogurt will look and taste its best. The palette lid must have some amount of flex or warp to it in order to fit it onto the tray. The war1p will not affect the functionality of the palette. Moisture collecting around the seal of the lid or door is a sign that the cooler air is escaping from the ice box and you should replace the seals or check the placement of food to ensure that the door/lid is not being obstructed from closing properly.

The hinge section, that portion which joins the lock to the lid, is only 0.3mm thick, however it is designed so as to last for many years with normal use. Testing authorities have opened and closed the hinge over 3,000,000 times, in specially designed testing equipment, to ensure its durability. Damage to the hinge area is rare. Damage may occur due to impact or an imperfection in manufacture. Such damage is covered under the product guarantee.

It is important for the Lid to be closed tight and locked, for maximum sealing performance. Do not be afraid to apply pressure to the Lid, you will not damage the sealer. Position both hands on the sides of Lid and then press firmly on both sides of Lid until you hear each side click into the locked position.

You should not leave the lid on because it is made of wood and could cause the wood to warp. If you want a cover to help retain the heat, we suggest the material used for swimming pool covers.
