When they are out, they go in a small wooded area of my yard too that had been treated. I have found only 2 ticks on 6 dogs in 2 years. We do try and keep the underbrush cut down to minimize the tick environment. Ticks are not going to be found in your manicured lawn areas, esp in the sun.
