One of the highest-rated and most prestigious apprenticeship programs in the country, the Boston Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) Training Program was created jointly by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Local 103, and the Greater Boston Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) with one goal — to produce the most highly skilled and professional electricians and technicians in the industry.

The Greater Boston JATC Training Program offers a five-year Electrical Construction Program and a four-year Telecommunications Program—both designed to shape apprentices into well-rounded electricians and technicians, expert in the complete scope of their chosen field.

The Greater Boston JATC Training Center offers 56,000 square feet of facilities that include thirteen classrooms, eleven shops, three computer labs, a drafting room, seminar rooms, administrative and student areas, and an auditorium. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and reside within the IBEW Local 103 geographical jurisdiction (Greater Metropolitan Boston). Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, with one year of high school algebra with passing grade or equivalent. Applicants must be in good health and be self motivated, have excellent communication skills, and work well with others. For the Electrical Program, applicants must receive a high score on an aptitude test.

Yes. We are pretty picky. We look for people who have degrees in art or at least some formal training in art. We look at portfolios. And it's also important to dress like you mean business. If you're all grunged out and dirty, do ya think I really want you to do invasive procedures? Not in my studio... nuh-uh. Not now, not today. It is a good idea to dress decent and go introduce yourself to the people you want to have teach you. All the better if you have a portfolio.

We have had a longstanding interest in trying to learn more about moyamoya syndrome in the hopes of ultimately developing better treatments for children affected by this disease, including ongoing research initiatives in collaboration with many other scientists and physicians at The Children's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and elsewhere.

Harvard students may cross-register in courses offered at MIT, which is a direct, 10-minute trip from Harvard Yard. Students may also enroll in advanced courses at the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences as well as at many of Harvard's professional schools.

Working with the architect at Calvin College, we helped design and construct the Calvin College Vincent and Helen Bunker Interpretive Center that produces more than 65% if its own operating power and was awarded a Gold LEED Rating from the USGBC. Also, we helped Adscape Media to develop the backend of their in-game advertising platform.

ALSI has experience on several different projects. ALSI performs testing for cities, boroughs, municipalities, industrial clients, such as weekly, monthly, and quarterly compliance monitoring. Programs supported include SDWA, NPDES, CWA, etc. ALSI also performs sampling and testing for various landfills in support of the various environmental monitoring programs designed specifically for each individual landfill or waste monitoring facility.

A5. We have developed the Campus Commons which includes Weblogs@UPEI, Weblogs@HC, Radio@UPEI, SportsTalk@UPEI, and Panther Radio. We have provided various consulting and hosting services for our partners. We have developed multimedia applications.

We try and focus on schools that are not getting help from other organizations. Past projects have consisted of: Watt Town All Age School Computer Lab – 2006; Charlton Infant School Indoor Bathrooms with Plumbing – 2005; Aboukir All Age School Library and Computer Lab – 2004; Aabuthnott Gallimore High School cafeteria – 2003; Eccelston Library, Computer Lab, Teachers cottage, schools and church – 2002.

Projects eligible for SRF loans include wastewater management facilities, reclaimed wastewater reuse facilities, stormwater management facilities, widely accepted pollution control practices (sometimes called "best management practices") associated with agricultural stormwater runoff pollution control activities, and estuary protection activities and facilities.

Since the scholarship program began in 1996, over 150 projects have been completed domestically and in countries around the world. Project topics have been diverse and far-reaching but all share a focus on promoting human rights.

Research, defined by federal regulation as "a systematic investigation designed to develop or contribute to generalizable knowledge," that involves intervention or interaction with living persons and/or collection of identifiable private information about those individuals must be reviewed by the IRB prior to initiation. All faculty and staff conducted research that involves human participants must be reviewed by the IRB.

Assorted projects to assist in the operation of Fraternity Headquarters (The Fraternity HQ staff often assists one another with mailings, data entry…etc.) Other projects may be assigned as decided by the Archivist/Curator and successful candidate.
