If you must continue to exercise the treatment area, it may take a lot more treatments to get the desired result. You may continue to re-injure it with the exercise or sports activity, preventing it from getting strong enough to protect it.

You should plan to take it easy and put ice on the eyelids for two days, and not work out or play sports for a week.

While you can resume most of your daily routine after LASIK, for at least two weeks you will need to avoid any activities including sports that would cause perspiration to run into your eyes.
