It only makes sense to base the ratings on recent history, not ancient history. So what we do is look only at your most recent activity, up to a maximum of the 10 most recent events. You can still look up all the events you've ever been to in the my linkup control panel, but the ratings are based only on your most recent activity. It is important that all Scholars students take at least one, and preferably two, Scholars classes each semester. Please be aware that if you do not take a Scholars class you may be put on Scholars probation or even dropped from the program. The public forum is being held in conjunction with a scientific workshop on the human genome. This invitation-only scientific workshop will be closed to the public and to the media. If the class conflict is unavoidable, then you may sign up for Alternate Forum. Alternate Forum sign-up sessions are held during the first week of classes each semester. When students attend an event, they must obtain some form of proof they have participated. This can include a sign-in sheet, a program, or some other form of documentation. After the event, students must turn in these records to the Honors Program office. Student should keep track of the number of out-of-class events they attend.
