TRST 102 STUDY SKILLS is dealing with the basic skills and techniques you need to succeed in college: time management tips, note taking, test taking skills, memory techniques, reading strategies, research methods, resource information and more. The TRST 103 LIFE TRANSITION & CAREER EXPLORATION class is extensive self assessment, developing transition skills, exploring career options and making better informed educational and career choices.

A4: Formal standardized tests can determine basic levels of social skills functioning, but it is also important to interview the child's caregiver and observe him interacting with his environment. Teachers can also play an important role by watching the child during unstructured activities such as recess, and by using support staff to make note of breakdown times.

All participating students must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.7. However, many programs require at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Students who study abroad must also have academic, financial and disciplinary clearance.

Vesalius College offers a minimal service for students with Special Needs such as Dyslexia and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, for which students are required to provide medical documents relating to their Disability. Vesalius College does not currently have the facility to operate its own internal disability testing service, nor does it currently have any disabled facilities available to help physically handicapped students, such as ramps or hand rails or disabled toilets.

Study skills coaching sessions are individual appointments during which students have the opportunity to meet with a study skills coach to discuss methods to improve their study skills in a variety of different areas. You will learn the basics of how to produce professional quality video programs. This includes "above-the-line" experience in producing, writing, directing, casting, and art direction.

There is no need for anyone at school to know the HIV status of a student or employee. Yes! However, due to the special tutoring nature of the position that high school students occupy within the Math Corps, they must at least be proficient in 7th and 8th grade Mathematics. High school students will receive instruction and assistance in their Mathematics courses during the latter part of each program day.

The APEL™ Reading Program is designed for "GAP" students who struggle with reading and need extra practice, but do not qualify for special education services in school. The APEL™ Reading Program relies on the same technology, tracking system and access. However, APEL™ makes use of public domain material that is not currently restricted by copyright law.
