On September 16, 2002 records of births and deaths which occurred within the corporate city limits of Hurst were transfered to the Tarrant County Clerks Office for Vital Statistics, Tarrant County Courthouse, Room 180, 100 West Weatherford St., Fort Worth, Texas, 76102. The phone number is 817-884-1195. Certified copies of birth and death certificates may be obtained from the Tarrant County Clerk's office.
