At the interview, a form is completed giving us permission to have your pet treated by your veterinarian. In case we cannot reach him/her, we have a vet-on-call that has an ongoing relationship with us of 17 years duration. There are local emergency clinics in Rockville and Hyattstown that can be reached 24 hours a day.

Most have only a mild fever, body aches, maybe a rash and swollen lymph glands. The good news is that exotic diseases are actually pretty rare in travelers. (It's important to know the exceptions). How much risk you have of getting sick depends on a lot of factors such as where you're going, how long you'll be there, and what you will be doing. Obviously, a scientist studying hemorrhagic fevers in the heart of Africa for a couple of years runs much different disease risks than someone enjoying a tour of Italy during the grape harvest.

Johnny Jackson's World Famous Texas Body Art Tattoo Studio
Getting a tattoo when your immune system isn't at 100% isn't a good idea. You're going to need your strength and your white blood cells to heal your tattoo, something your body won't be able to do if it's already doing battle against virus and bacteria. Not to mention the fact that it's very inconsiderate to bring your illness into the tattoo studio and risk passing the germs onto others, particularly your artist.
