SGS are scripless, ownership of SGS is reflected as a book entry in the investor's account with the bank. Therefore, investors must open SGS accounts with any participating bank, either a Primary or Secondary Dealer, of the SGS market to facilitate the safekeeping and debiting/crediting of SGS. The Space Generation Summit (SGS) will bring together 250 international delegates between age 18 and 35 to develop and contribute a youth vision of space to the World Space Congress. The Summit is facilitated by the Space Generation Advisory Council, the body through which student and young professional views are brought to the United Nation's Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, and builds on the success of the Space Generation Forum at UNISPACE III.

Ultrasound could be used to detect the kidney defect, and radiologic diagnosis could be used to detect the skeletal abnormalities. There is no prevention or cure for SGS, but early diagnosis enables parents to know what to expect and get the help in place that they are going to need.

Treatment is only supportive, and cannot affect the outcome of the disorder. Examples of treatment would be gastrostomy feeding tubes to facilitate feeding, antibiotics for the frequent urinary tract infections, anti-seizure medications to subdue the seizures, and comfort measures such as oxygen, tranquilizers, or pain relievers.
