We do not sell sheet music. You need to contact a sheet music store, as producing sheet music is its own industry (although it's a rather thin line, isn't it?).

I don't have lyrics on my pages and I don't plan to include any in the future. Nor do I have any lyrics to send via e-mail.

All you need is your church's CCLI license. All of the songs are licensed with CCLI, or in the public domain. Go ahead and use these songs as you would use any CCLI licensed music.

Have you looked at the book reviews for books that have translated lyrics for Middle Eastern songs? Have you looked at the other web sites I've linked to which offer song translations? Have you carefully looked at my lyrics menu, perhaps trying alternate song titles or spellings? If you've done all those things, and still not found the translation for the song you want, then I'm afraid I can't help you. You see, I don't speak Arabic, Turkish, Armenian, or Hebrew myself.

Even though there used to be lyrics on this site they were not all correct. They were just fan interpretations of the lyrics. The only official lyrics are printed in the "Spend a night In The Box" liner notes. Jim once commented on why there are no lyrics in the liner notes by saying, "I don't consider myself a poet."

Several of the entries in the Music Links are good lyric and chord resources. If the desired song cannot be found at these sites, a Google search will often yield good results. When searching for a song, do not search for the title, because that will return many sites selling CDs, music books, etc. Rather, search for a short phrase in the lyrics. For example, don't search for "Amazing Grace", search for "how sweet the sound" or "that saved a wretch like me".

While the major focus of this group is lyric poetry, there are no guidelines that say you can't ask for comments on song lyrics here. It's generally agreed that the technical criteria for song lyrics are in some respects different from the criteria for lyric poetry. For example, song lyrics can be freer rhythmically, because the music provides the beat. We suggest that if you post the lyrics to a song, you identify it as such; that way you're less likely to be criticized for the wrong reason.
