FORMTECH ICF blocks can accept any type of interior or exterior finishes, including stucco. Finishes can be easily attached to the embedded strapping at 8" intervals with non-corrosive, self-tapping screws. No vapor or air barrier is required.

Metallic glazes were designed for interior use. If several coats of McCloskey Man O War Marine Spar Varnish are used, exterior applications are possible. Please note that Spar Varnish is very yellow/amber in color and may change the look of some colors.

The Formtech ICF consists of two identical panels of fire retardant Expanded Polystyrene (EPS). Each Formtech panel is 48" long and 16" high with a thickness of 2 1/2 inches. The reversible EPS panels have embedded grippers, which are manufactured from injection-molded certified grade polypropylene. The reversible block is made by standing two panels, facing with grippers opposite and inserting cavity webs.

The Formtech ICF requires no special corner or intercepting wall forms, making it simple to use. Corners, T-sections, angles, curves and other special needs are all constructed from the basic panel. Basically they can be. The only thing to consider with exterior countertops is that they are subject to the elements. Rain, hail, snow, freezing and sunlight. These factors should be put into consideration when planning and building an exterior grade concrete countertop. Keeping the Statim cassette clean is good clinical practice. The interior surface of the cassette should be cleaned at least once a week with a mild, chlorine-free dishwashing soap. To promote quick drying, we recommend spraying the cassette lid and tray with Stat-Dri after each cleaning. A container that is going to be shipped internationally must meet several requirements. The container must be surveyed by a certified marine surveyor to ensure that the integrity of the unit is structurally sound.
