Ideally, assessment is incorporated into daily practice. In that way assessment will not be perceived as an extra burden. For example, as much as possible, integrate assessment into the curriculum by using scoring rubrics for student assignments. By using scoring rubrics, faculty can gather information for program-level assessment while they do their grading. This approach minimizes faculty workload and makes assessment activities an integral, logical part of the students' education.

No. The test results are confidential so they cannot be provided to anyone other than the individual who took the test. Also, the database where the test results are tracked does not capture the department nor does it have the capability to generate reports. People who take the test are given the option of having the results of the test sent to them via e-mail, which, they are then free to forward.

YES! Although students are accepted into either the clinical or experimental program, at either the masters’ level or doctoral level, you are free to work with any faculty member whose research interests are compatible with your own.

Yes, but not simultaneously. Students may hold GNM status in only one department at a time and they may not hold any other student status while enrolled as a GNM student. If you want to transfer to GNM status in another program, you must apply to that program in the usual way. However, you may request that transcripts and other student records from the first program be forwarded to supplement the new GNM application. Only a total of 12 credits may apply toward a graduate degree.

All first- and second-year seminars have approximately a 12:1 student, faculty ratio. Hmmm thats a good question because it has changed over the years. I used to like painting with a bunch of people but for some reason i dont like it as much anymore. I have always liked my 1 man walls I do. 2 man walls or 3 man walls are dope too. The problem is if you start cramming 20 people on a wall, shit just isnt on point visually anymore after that. Too much crap crammed into one space is wack and not visually appealing. Thats just one mans opinion.

The Orchestra has an active social side, with all encouraged to congregate in the bar after rehearsals. In addition, our Social Secretaries arrange socials, usually off campus in Leamington or Coventry. The bar and our socials are a great way to get to know people in the orchestra and are a lot of fun as well!

First time students are sometimes worried that the atmosphere will be competitive and that they may not get the attention they would like if they are not advanced players. This is never the case at our workshops. Students of all levels receive the same amount of attention from staff. Additionally, the atmosphere usually leads to more advanced students helping beginners.

The atmosphere at our villa has been described as a very relaxed one, classy, though the girls can go wild and turn the place upside down, dancing and partying the night away. Our guests love the privacy of our villa but have access to all the facilities of the resort we are attached to. We share the same beach, in addition we have a private beach just a few steps from our villa, it is so private we have made it clothing optional.

We're very friendly. It's like a big family, and we're all very caring. We have four instructors and about 50 students, ranging in age from straight out of high school to over 60 years old. I've often set students up with jobs when they graduate. I've set up many students with jobs at Fresno State University, where sororities and fraternities are looking for cooks. I also have my own catering company on the side. Instead of hiring regular staff, I'll hire students to work for me.
