We can image practically all formats. We can't image the "native" formats of some of the newer programs (for example: In-Design), but we can create slides from most any photo editing software file: psd, ai, eps, pdf, pdd, tiff, jpeg, bmp, tga, and gif. Having said that, we do recommend that for the best results you don't send pure Photoshop (psd) or Illustrator (ai) files. We recommend that you save them in RGB format, as either tiffs or jpegs.

BlueMoon Stock files are JPEG compressed. While no image degradation is noticeable after onecompression-decompression cycle, subsequent compressions will begin to soften the images. It is important, therefore, for optimal image quality, never re-save images as JPEG-compressed files. Images from BlueMoon Stock are intended to be as versatile as possible for the end user.

The clinical images can be can be submitted on a CD. The instructions for submitting the clinical images on CD will be in the testing materials package the site gets when they apply for accreditation. In multi-detector-row CT (MDCT), the reconstructed slice thickness is not always the same as the Tomographic thickness of one data channel (T as defined in the ACR accreditation documents).

The short answer: If you are editing the file and plan to reopen it in your image editing program later, you should save it in a lossless format such as TIFF, or one of the other lossless formats supported by your image editor. (See also the discussion of JPEG vs. TIFF below.) If you aren't planning on changing the image at all., you should just leave it in whatever format the camera produced.

Shore accepts the following file formats .JPG and .TIF . Files saved in any other format may be subject to additional charges.

Gimp's native image format - XCF - is capable of saving all layers, channels, paths and active selections.

The map images are stored in a proprietary file format called .tpq. The extension allows ArcGIS to recognize this file as a raster image format, similar to a ".tif " or ".jpg" format.

We take all of our digital images in either a high quality RAW or JPEG format. We can then convert the images into any format you desire.

The Digital Music Notebook application cannot use Standard MIDI files, since they do not contain suitably authored score content. Digital Music Notebook only works with a Digital Music Notebook package file (these files have the file extension .dpk).

Please send us files in JPG, EPS, TIFF formats (for P.C.) on a Floppy Disk, CD, USB connectable storage devices or internet. If you are sending through internet, please make sure the file is compressed in zip format in a size of less than 5MB. We can print any sized print, with unlimited widths and unlimited lengths - from posters to building encompassing banners. We specialize in BIG printing.

CSV is a commonly used text format. You can use Microsoft Excel to save files in this format (Select File/Save As and choose CSV from the Save As Type box). See the previous question for more info on importing.

Any file format listed above can be imported into PhotoManager. When images are being uploaded to the web, they are converted into a .JPG file and compressed to about a 26K file.

We offer TIFF and JPEG files for print use and JPEG format for use on the web, multimedia, and other uses.

Our most common request is for JPEG format, but we're more than happy to supply photos in the format of your choice.

We require that your images be in JPEG format. Typically, this includes files with a .jpg or .jpe extension.

Image quality is critical to the judging process, and the quality of images is often dependent on the "native" format, in other words: the format in which they were photographed. Therefore, if the project was already photographed in 35 mm slide format, we will accept the 35 mm images rather than require the entrant to get them converted to digital. See Submitting Images for tips on submitting digital images.

Please send digital images in the following formats: PDF, JPEG, TIFF, PSD, AI, EPS, BMP. Please contact us if you have a different format that you would prefer to use.

If you are emailing your image, please save your image as a JPEG (.jpg) and ensure it is smaller than 5Mb compressed. You can of course send larger file sizes to us on a CD as JPEG or TIFF. If you are not sure, just call or email us.

The graphic file formats which are best for saving pictures for the Internet are GIF's (Graphic Interchange Format) and JPEG's (Joint Photographic Experts Group). GIF's and JPEG's are Web graphics standards; Web browsers are able to translate them so you can view them. Yes. Once your uploaded resume file has been attached to the resume template, you can click View Printable and your uploaded file will be displayed on your screen as a PDF file. Now you can save it on your hard drive.

For Business Card, please save your artwork in Adobe Acrobat Document (PDF), Illustrator, Photoshop, TIFF or JPEG.

If you are scanning the images yourself from photographs it is better to save them in either tif, or eps format. These image formats will preserve the color and sharpness of your pictures the best. However, we will accept jpg or jpeg if it is at least 300dpi. File formats like gif or jpg compress the pictures color and pixel resolution and may not maintain the true color of the image.

Your digital images should be 1 MB in size per image. It is requested that you convert your very high-resolution images to a lower-resolution before submitting them to us. For viewing and web site purposes, we require images to be 300 DPI. We will contact you when a client is interested in one of your digital images. At that time we will ask for a higher resolution image to be e-mailed to us or sent by FTP (upload).

You need a stream to read the response, WebResponse.GetResponseStream(), and a stream to write it to the hard drive. FileStream should do the trick. You'll have to write to the filestream what you read from the response stream.

Your browser will have a way to save images it displays. In Netscape, right-click on the image and select "Save image as". In MS Internet Explorer, right-click and select "Save picture as". In either case be certain that you name the file something with a .jpg extension like TexasBurrMapZoom.jpg, because the default name presented to you in the dialog box might be something like makeJpg.cgi.

SpeedSheets does not allow you to create a workbook password. If you need to prevent access to particular workbooks then you will need to use the network file access and protection mechanisms to achieve this. Similarly SpeedSheets does not allow the workbook to be saved into other file formats. Doing so would remove the functionality from the SpeedSheets and/or compromise the protection of the intellectual property in SpeedSheets.

The building blocks of your image library are the actual file formats in which you save your images. There are two major formats: compressed and uncompressed. The advantage of uncompressed storage is that you can save a maximum amount of image-forming information for color fidelity and clarity. Compressed file formats get rid of some information to shrink the file size (thereby increasing a disk's storage capacity).

JPEG format storage is ideal for posting your photos to the Internet and for e-mailing them to friends. (It's also useful for archiving when you've finished editing them and need to save storage space.) The compressed images still look good on-screen and contain a relatively large amount of information in the shrunken file. JPEG storage is great for maximizing space but not for maintaining image quality.
