WIND CONTROLLER FAQ (UPDATED)The global fine tuning parameter (parameter "tu") may not be set to "40" (A=440). Make sure the TRANS LED is not lit. If it is, then you are transposing the horn out of the key of C (concert pitch). You may need to calibrate the EWI's bend sensors so the pitch is centered. This is very easy to do. That is to say that unlike what your teachers may have taught you, you SHOULD let some air escape from the corners of your mouth when blowing into the EWI4000s. This type of system allows for far greater control over air flow by the player and feels exactly the same as blowing all the air through the horn.

I did this a bit in the EWI4000s soundbank demo here.
