Both the #18 Phenolic Disinfectant/Cleaner & the #5 Quat Disinfectant Cleaner are residual disinfectants which are intended to be used without rinsing. To achieve maximum disinfection, if rinsing is employed, the disinfectants should be left on the surface for 10 minutes and then rinsed.

M's recommendation is a rotational program using the #3 Neutral Floor Cleaner with either the #5 Quat Disinfectant Cleaner or the #18 Phenolic Disinfectant Cleaner. By utilizing the #3 Neutral Floor Cleaner, the floor finish life will be maximized. Continuous use of either the #5 or #18 disinfectant cleaners will result in build up of a sticky residue on the floor. Recommended rotation is: 5 days of Disinfectant/Cleaner followed by one day of Neutral Floor Cleaner.

Both the #5 Quat Disinfectant/Cleaner and the Phenolic Disinfectant/Cleaner are broad spectrum disinfectants effective against gram positive, gram negative, fungi and selected viruses. The #18 Phenolic Disinfectant/Cleaner is also effective against Parvo virus as well as a number of other organisms of veterinary significance.

Our crews are generally able to install around 300 square ft of pre-finished nail-down or glue-down flooring per day. Glue-less laminates would be around 500 sq ft per day.
