DPH is an active participant in the task force. Annually, the chamber asks you about your interests and expertise in business issues and community issues. The chamber has three permanent task forces, the Diplomat's Club which acts as the chamber's public relations arm; the State/Federal Affairs Task Force which monitors business legislative issues and the City/County Task Force which focuses on business issue in the immediate community.

A Task Force consists of three pieces of apparatus: an aerial truck, an engine company and a single "pump" apparatus. A Captain, an Apparatus Operator and 3 Firefighters work on the truck. I sometimes see graphic anomalies, such as a random texture attached to a ship, or something similar. The MEIR (MINITEX Electronic Resources Information) Task Force was made up of librarians from Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota, and included librarians and media specialists from public and private four-year academic institutions, community and technical colleges, the University of Minnesota and its coordinate campuses, public and state government libraries, and school media centers.

The CWPPRA Task Force manages the CWPPRA program. The Task Force is composed of the State of Louisiana and five Federal agencies: the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), NOAA-National Marine Fisheries Service, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). While Sea Space works independently in implementing its projects on a day-to-day basis, it is accountable to the Hastings & Bexhill Task Force, which monitors the progress of the investment programme. GHTF is a voluntary consortium with representatives from the trade and regulatory authorities from USA, Canada, Australia, Japan and the European Union formed in 1992 to harmonize the standards and principles of regulating medical devices.

The WGDTF is a multi-jurisdictional narcotics investigative unit serving Carroll, Heard, and Meriwether Counties. The Department of Canadian Heritage invited national Aboriginal organizations, leading Aboriginal language experts, cultural institutions, and academics to identify potential Task Force candidates. They identified more than 50 names. The Department developed selection criteria, including research and community project experience, consensus building and leadership skills, and understanding of the diversity of needs and aspirations with respect to Aboriginal languages and cultures.

The Minister of Canadian Heritage asked Ron Ignace to act as Interim Chair of the Task Force when the membership was announced in December 2003. At the first full meeting of the Task Force in January 2004, the members agreed by consensus that Mr. Ignace serve as Chair and Mrs. Mary Jane Jim serve as Co-Chair. Yes. The county recruited applicants for the Community Task Force during the winter and spring of 2006. Presentations were made to more than 30 groups, including neighborhood and business associations as well as open public meetings. Seventy people applied to serve on the task force and 20 were selected and appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. In choosing the members, the County sought to include leaders from the major stakeholder groups impacted by the project.

A reduction in force will not occur as a result of a base being on the BRAC nomination list. If a base is officially selected and announced for closure, there are usually incremental reductions in force as part of the installation drawdown implementation plan.
