Why did my post get removed?
Horsetalk forums :: FAQThere are several reasons this might have happened. Reasons include: 1) your post was seen as abusive to another forum user. 2) your post was seen as spam, an advertisement, or SSP (shameless self promotion). 3) your post included a URL. We don't allow these for reasons including 2 (above) and that very long URLs can upset the viewing of a particular post by making it too wide. No problem.

But yes, we can, and yes, we do delete posts. Lest you think that posts get deleted left and right, just ask some of the long-time members: it rarely happens. Very, very rarely. We run the club with a very even hand. However, while this is a publicly visible club, Yahoo grants founders the right to monitor posts and delete any that are causing problems on the board.
