DSL is a modem technology that turns a customer's existing phone line into a three-channel data delivery system. We have tested our equipment many times and in many different locations and we have received the signals. The two way voice component however becomes extremely unreliable. We have had good luck with using two high grade filters but do not gaurantee the reliability. Vital-Link offers a Non-Voice unit as an option. Since the Vital-Link Non-Voice unit does not utilize a microphone, we have not yet experienced unreliability with the function of this equipment for DSL subscribers.

You would have to get a more expensive business package. Third, DSL and cable lines have a much lower reliability than dedicated T1 or better lines.
