Mono (single) leaf springs consist of one plate of spring steel. Usually the spring is tapered and is thick in the middle and tappers out thinner to the ends.

The most common method of leaf spring inspection is checking the vehicle ride height. Measure! Don't rely on eyesight alone! This method will only catch the extreme cases of spring sag or leaning. In addition to checking ride height, look for these signs, which also indicate the leaf spring requires attention: Vehicle that commonly carry extra weight, resulting in unlevel condition most of the time (family transportation, work trucks, and sales fleets).

This is not all that unusual. The Land Rover 101 series also has a two leaf rear spring. We make the 73589 spring for owners of '86' and '88' model Land Rovers who generally never use the full load capacity of their trucks but want to have the best possible combination of smooth ride and great axle articulation. Usually when these springs are installed the owner knows his typical load will be two adults plus a fair amount of camping gear.

The 73591 spring is only used on "107" and "109" Land Rovers with heavier bodies. The typical application is the "109" safari station wagon which can carry up to twelve people. The 73591 is also useful if you have a heavy camper body on a three door "109". These are great springs for expedition Land Rovers which are often loaded to the maximum.

Here you have many more choices. The axle components can be replaced or repaired using conventional auto/trailer parts, such as leaf springs, brake drums and brake parts, shocks, hubs, bearings and wheels. If an axle is too far gone (rusted or broke) a new Dexter or Hadco axle can be attached, or a new Henschen Dura-torque axle can be retrofitted (see above). These wheels were actually low cost 4-lug Ford Mustang/Falcon wheels of the era.

The length of the add-a-leaf dictates its placement. Long add-a-leafs are normally installed directly beneath the main leaf (the leaf with the spring eyes). Short add-a-leaves are placed towards the bottom of the spring pack. The 73590 spring is used on “86” and “88” model Land Rovers which are frequently loaded to maximum capacity. It is also used on "86" and "88" models which have Safari roofs and/or roofracks or which are used for towing trailers. The 73590 is also used on “107” and “109” three door Land Rovers, pickups and canvas top models where the actual body weight on the Land Rover is light.

Two reasons: 1) All the music and sound effects are from the esteemed Valentino Library, and go back decades. They are, of course, in mono. And B) this is supposed to be an el-cheapo film from over 40 years ago; stereo back then was a four-track-magnetic affair, mostly reserved for three-hour-plus road shows with intermissions and all-star casts.

The Mono Project is an open development initiative sponsored by Novell to develop an open source, UNIX version of the Microsoft .NET development platform. Its objective is to enable UNIX developers to build and deploy cross-platform .NET Applications. The project implements various technologies developed by Microsoft that have now been submitted to the ECMA for standardization. The Mono Project has also sparked a lot of interest in developing C#-based components, libraries and frameworks.

Add-A-Leaf is a extra leaf added to a leaf spring pack. Add leafs are installed to increase vehicle carring capicity or to create a firmer ride.. They are also used to lift vehicle ride height. The number or leafs added and the thickness of the leafs directly determine the percentage of ride quality/height change.

More than likely the axle was made by Hadco Engineering, a supplier to Airstream in the 1950's. You can either maintain the brakes as hydraulic, which requires special mods to the tow vehicle, or you can convert them to electrical operation. Both hydraulic and electrical components are still available from Hadco.

The add-a-leaf utilizes the stock main leafs while eliminating the factory overload leaf spring. It greatly improves the on and off-road ride while providing 1.5 inches of lift. A mono top is a very fine transparent mesh, which is used in the most critical areas of wigs, the front hairline and parting. The mono mesh is so fine it allows the natural scalp colour to show if parted. Each fibre is tied by hand. The advantage is that it looks completely natural, just like your own scalp.

Answer: Anytime you lower a truck regardless of what you use (springs, shackles ect.) you will loose towing capacity. The reason being is that you loose travel. What happens is that when you lower the vehicle 4 inches, you become closer to the bump stops. Then when you load up the bed with a load, now you are on the bump stops. No more travel. Not good for the truck. The fix to this situation would be to use an air bag assist to help with towing.

Generally, the deciding factor to this dilemma is the total speaker load impedance you wish to drive. With Micro-Tech and Macro-Tech amplifiers you would want to use Bridge Mono to get the most power available when driving 8 or 4-ohm loads (one or two 8 ohm speakers). With a Power-Tech or Com-Tech amplifier you need to stay at 8 ohms or greater. Parallel Mono can be used when driving lower impedance loads. A one-ohm load can be driven Parallel Mono with a Micro-Tech or Macro-Tech.

Mono Lake contains about 280 million tons of dissolved salts. The concentration of salts in the water depends directly on how much water is in the lake. Before water diversions began in 1941, salinity was about 50 grams per liter (g/l). At the lowest lake level in 1982, it was 99 g/l. Currently it is about 78 g/l. Once it rises to its stabilization level in the next 20 years, salinity will average 69 g/l. For comparison, the ocean is about 31.5 g/l, or 3.5% dissolved solids by weight.

The Water Board’s Decision 1631 (D.1631) set minimum flows for the streams, set limits on water exports designed to allow the lake level to rise and stabilize at an elevation of 6,392 feet above sea level, and ordered the L.A.

In response to D.1631, DWP prepared plans for both stream and waterfowl habitat restoration to undo the damage of 50 years of diversions. Revised plans were finally approved by the State Water Board in late 1998, following public debate and comment. Stream Restoration Plan: Stream restoration relies primarily on maintaining flows that mimic the pattern of former natural flows. Most important are peak flows in the spring runoff period.

No, you can not bridge a mono amp because there is nothing to "bridge" to — whatever impedance load you present to amplifier is the actual load that it sees. This differs from a multichannel amp in that when you bridge two channels together, you halve the load presented to them (for example, 2 4-ohm woofers wired in parallel and bridged to a stereo amplifier is "seen" as a 1-ohm load to that amp).

Monoglycerides and diglycerides are common food additives used to blend together certain ingredients, such as oil and water, which would not otherwise blend well. The commercial source may be either animal (cow- or hog-derived) or vegetable, and they may be synthetically made as well. Mono and di-glycerides are fatty substances that are used as emulsifiers. Emulsifiers are compounds used to keep oils or fats and water dispersed in one phase (i.e., they prevent oil and water from separating). Mono and di-glycerides can be derived from animal or vegetable sources. When derived from vegetable sources, they are halal. When derived from animal sources, they are questionable. More information is required to determine if they are halal.

The ".NET Initiative" is a somewhat nebulous company-wide effort by Microsoft, one part of which is a cross-platform development framework. Mono is an implementation of the development framework, but not an implementation of anything else related to the .NET Initiative, such as Passport or software-as-a-service.

A Common Language Infrastructure (CLI) virtual machine that contains a class loader, Just-in-time compiler, and a garbage collecting runtime. A class library that can work with any language which works on the CLR. Both .NET compatible class libraries as well as Mono-provided class libraries are included. A compiler for the C# language. In the future we might work on other compilers that target the Common Language Runtime.
