Official copies of college transcripts are required to conduct a transfer evaluation. We will do a transfer evaluation as part of the admissions process. If you would like to know what credits we will accept prior to applying, feel free to send your transcripts to the Office of Admissions. Kindly attach a letter with your name and contact information, as well as what program you are interested in. A transfer evaluation will be mailed to you within two weeks.

Evaluation of transfer credits is completed through the Registrar in consultation with the Dean and Program Director. Placement of a student into a program is dependent upon the amount of transfer credit granted. Please note that a student must earn a minimum of 30 credit hours at Trocaire to be eligible for a degree. Transfer students will receive credit for college courses which are equivalent to those offered at Trocaire College. Only courses completed with a grade of "C" or better are acceptable for transfer. The acceptance of advanced credit is tentative until the student has completed one semester of satisfactory work at Trocaire.

You first need to request your official transcripts to be sent by the previous institution to “Tidewater Community College, Central Records Office, 7000 College Drive, Portsmouth, VA 23703”. After being accepted into a specific program, you would complete an “Evaluation of Previous Educational Experiences” online form and submit it to Central Records.

Although each college has its own policies concerning transfer of courses and credit, colleges frequently enter into Transfer Agreements. A Transfer Agreement can save students time and money as they pursue their degrees. Transfer Agreements may take several forms, but they typically include dual admission agreements and/or core-to-core transfer agreements.

General Education courses that match those in the program will be considered for transfer. All requests for transfer of these courses are subject to the deans' approval.

Answer: Each student's transcripts are considered on an individual basis. The Registrar's office makes the final determination as to which courses can be transferred into your program after conferring with department chairs and the Academic Dean. Courses that you took at other colleges or universities are examined to ensure that they meet program requirements and are from regionally-accredited colleges or institutions.

Charter Oak has a liberal credit transfer policy. We will accept most credits that have been successfully completed at other regionally accredited institutions. This includes up to 90 semester credits from regionally accredited, two-year colleges. Exceptions include courses in physical education, freshman orientation, and developmental courses. Have the college granting the credit send an official transcript to the Registrar's office at Nazareth. Official transcripts usually cost around $5.00. Do this even if you took the course through your high school; we can't accept high school transcripts for college credit. Once we post your credit this summer, you will receive a letter telling you what courses you received credit for at Nazareth.

Yes, NECF accepts transfer credits from most regionally accredited institutions. Once you have officially matriculated into an NECF program, NECF´s Registrar can then evaluate your transfer credits. When transferring credits into NECF, we require an official transcript, sealed and forwarded to the NECF Registrar´s Office. Transcripts in any language other than English must be translated through the Center for Educational Documentation.

Classes taken at a community college will be evaluated on a course-by-course basis. Generally, courses that are academic in nature, over the 100-level (Math 095 accepted) and a “C” grade or higher, will transfer for some type of credit.

All transcripts documenting quarter credits will be converted to semester hours. One quarter hour is equal to .67 semester hours. The transfer evaluation specialist will review these courses to determine how many credits will be accepted in transfer. Fort Lewis College does accept many Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate test scores. Check with the Registrar's Office for specific courses and accepted scores for credit.

Up to 90 credits may transfer from accredited institutions, but no more than 75 of those credits may transfer from two-year institutions. Applicants who have completed a technical/occupational module at a community college may transfer 30-48 technical/occupational credits. A minimum of 30 credits must be taken at Georgian Court University. Additional credits may be earned through Challenge Exams (These credits are considered to be Georgian Court credits.

Collin works closely with other institutions to make the transfer process as smooth as possible. The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board has established procedures to be followed when transfer credit for lower division courses is disputed. Central Pennsylvania College is accredited by the Middle States Association on Higher Education. Central Penn will accept credits from other accredited institutions. In order for your credits to transfer, students need to have earned a grade of C or higher. Once you have applied to Central Penn, and your high school and college transcripts arrive, the Continuing Education Dean will review your file and determine which classes will transfer to Central Penn.

You can expect the credits earned through the CWU Cornerstone Program to be fully accepted by most colleges and universities. However, standard practices of higher education institutions require that any type of transfer credit be made on a case-by-case basis. A student should check with the institution he or she plans to attend to determine what its policy is regarding university credit earned in high school.

Yes, transferring to a university from SCC is very common. Be sure to meet with an academic advisor each semester because with good advising and grades of C or better, approximately 60 credit hours of similar coursework will transfer to your bachelor degree program at a university.

Ans. Students desiring to transfer credits from another college or seminary, acceptable to Bethany, may transfer all previously earned credits toward an undergraduate program except for the final 30 credits required for the degree. At the Master's level, requiring 36 credits, the student may transfer only six credits.
