To access Preferences, either select Edit from the main menu and choose Preferences or use the Preferences button in the Function Toolbar. Now simply use the left hand components menu to navigate through all preference options such as General, Accounts, Trade, Watch List, etc. Be sure to click Apply to save your settings and click Ok when you're finished making changes. The ticker can be enabled in one of two places: by either selecting View from the main menu and clicking Ticker or accessing Ticker within Preferences and clicking Enable. Active Trader Pro gives you access to the most recent conference calls by company, so you no longer need to sift through each day's conference calls to find the calls you are interested in hearing. One way to access company conference calls is to enter a symbol in the quote window then from the function toolbar select Research > Research on XXX > News > Conference Calls. There are multiple ways to navigate the Active Trader Pro application. The obvious way to access functionality is via the main menu, Function Toolbar and Layout Toolbar, but you can also right click for short cut menus. For example, you can quickly find positions across accounts, set alerts, trade and more simply by right clicking on any symbol in your watch lists. To do this, simply place your cursor arrow anywhere in the row for a given symbol and click the right button on your mouse.
