The plate is faulty and must be replaced. Plate arcing is caused by rough handling, reinstalling improperly or manufacturing defect.

Rushing noise: Immediately after turning on the gas tank valve, you may hear a "rushing" noise. This is just gas rushing into the supply hose and manifold. Groaning or metallic cracking and popping: As Flavorizer Bars, burner tubes, and cooking grates heat and cool, they expand and contract, causing these sounds. Fluttering noise: If the slide-out bottom tray is not fully pushed into place, excess air may be drawn into the cookbox, causing a "fluttering" sound.

You have a ground loop problem. Try using a cheater plug that removes the third prong, also called the 'ground'. Do NOT ground the grounding tab on the cheater plug! That would defeat the purpose of the cheater plug for this application. You have an amplifier problem. If the ground cheater plug does not help, disconnect all interconnects from the subwoofer amplifier. If still hums, call or email technical support. You have a problem with other equipment.

Ionisation is the process of emitting electrical energy into the air which then energizes particles in the air. The particle will then attach itself to a grounded object or combine with another particle or particles until it is heavy enough to be dropped by gravity. This process effectively eliminates solid particles from the air. The second process is oxidation using activated oxygen. Activated oxygen will alter and decompose gasses much like the process of burning.

Audible noise from a fluorescent light is likely due to a loose or faulty ballast. The ballast is an electrical device inside the lighting fixture that supplies the proper starting and operating power to the lamp. Sometimes, changing a lamp loosens the ballast mounting or other parts of the fixture and the slight vibration from the ballast during normal operation causes a buzzing or hum. The volume of the sound may change - louder or softer - as the fixture warms up.

It most likely is the dashboard. As your driving over bumps, press on it and see if the noise stops. If so, your best bet is take it to the dealer to be fixed. If you feel comfortable taking apart the dash yourself, you'll see Dual-Lock (velcro) fasteners/adhesive tape which attach to the dash. The adhesive on the fastener has probably come unstuck. Try pressing it back down or touching it up with some fresh adhesive/glue. Also be sure to check the parking brake release button.

The Air Station receives relatively few noise complaints. The majority of those complaints come from developed areas impacted by the MCAS landing pattern. Geographically this would be Pleasant Point and Gray's Hill.

Some, if not most, Impalas arrive with the rear exhaust hanger bolts loose or missing. Have them replaced or tightened at the dealer. If the heat shield is rattling, try getting some thick sponge or that gray spongy packing material and cut it into four large pieces.

That's most likely your CV joints. They tend to go on all front wheel drive cars, especially if they're not taken care of. Repairs range from $350 to $600, or more, but can be replaced pretty easily on your own for about $225 to $250. To lengthen the life of your joints, use the emergency brake when you park, before you release the foot brake.

This is probably the fuel pump which is located inside the gas tank. It's a common noise, even among some 3rd gen owners. There's really not much which can be done about it with the exception of replacing the pump and hoping you get a quieter one.

Carbon is an extremely porous material that attracts and holds a wide range of harmful contaminants. Activated carbon is carbon which has a slight electro-positive charge added to it, making it even more attractive to chemicals and impurities. Activated charcoal binds to certain poisons to minimize absorption of the poison. The poison is then eliminated through bowel movements. Activated charcoal is a gritty, unflavored substance. This can make it difficult to administer. Activated charcoal can be administered through a nasogastric (NG) tube, a tube inserted through the nose to the stomach. No, not at this time. Activated charcoal is difficult to administer because of it palatability. Therefore, patient compliance is a problem.

Not in house, however, if you have polishing and plating, we would be more than happy to send the plating out for you. We can also prep for plating, usually by special request. If your part needs more attention to detail (nooks and crannies prepped perfect, or ‘especially’ flat surfaces) than the guys at the plating shop can give it, we would then do the pre-polish. On '97 and early '98 C5's, the fuel pump was particularly noisy, so this is probably what the sound is. You may notice that it gets worse when the car is cold, hot from a long drive, or when the tank is getting low on fuel. F-bodies are notorious for their "mysterious" rattles/knocks/squeaks. The 4th generations cars have greatly reduced these rattles, but they are not totally eliminated. Try one of the following: Wrap some electrical tape around the rear seat posts. There usually isn't a perfect fit of the seat latches and the post causing rattling. The tape will reduce any play and deaden any rattle. It could also be the hatch.

We're still working to reduce the decibel rating and with the use of external drivers we'll reduce about 50% of that decibel rating again.. If we use internal electronic transformers we strike performance problems including flickering, strobing or random shutdown.
