Researchers can make copies of tapes at the National Archives in College Park, Maryland, provided they bring their own recording equipment.

The Nixon staff is currently processing the remaining tapes in accordance with the provisions of the 1996 Tapes Settlement Agreement and the 2007 Deed of Gift.

The White House suspended most public tours after the September 11th 2001 terrorist attacks. Tours for visiting school groups and organized military veterans groups can be arranged. Please contact the Congressman's Washington, DC office if your school or veterans group would like to visit the White House.

Obviously, you are not a golfer. The image of Nixon Bowling comes from The Dude's living room, in which a picture of Nixon Bowling in the White House bowling alley hangs above his tiki bar. Jeff "The Dude" Dowd, the man who the Coen Brothers based the character of The Dude on, was a political activist and a member of the Seattle Seven (him and six other guys) who protested Nixon in the 60s.

While the public may have enjoyed hearing these celebrity recorded announcements in our taxicabs, these recordings are, unfortunately, not available for public use. Willy Nixon is a raccoon. He was first seen in in A.A. #8, a con man being transported out of town. He appeared later on as a lawyer (jails often have large law libraries, and prisoners have lots of free time). As a lawyer, Willy is an ambulance-chaser, specializing in medical malpractice, product liability, and anything else with large payoffs to the lawyers involved. Jack and Cecil first learned of the computer override codes from Willy, who learned them from other con artists.

White House Conferences on Aging are decennial events held to develop recommendations for the President and Congress on issues, policy and research in the field of aging.

The White House Project is a national, non-partisan organization dedicated to advancing a richly diverse, critical mass of women into the political pipeline, and fostering the entry of women into positions of leadership in all sectors, up to and including the U.S. presidency.

Americans have the perception that women have reached the top in all fields, from business to education to politics, but in reality they haven't. To challenge that misconception, The White House Project focuses on the top spot in the country that has yet to be filled by a woman: the presidency.

The Miniature Schnauzer was developed to be an identical version of the Standard Schnauzer. The Standard Schnauzer has never come in the white color. Our history of the evolvement of the breed indicate that there probably were introductions of other breeds to reduce the size of the original breed. The originators of the breed recommended not breeding the whites and parti-colors that appeared. This was to preserve the breed as it was intended.

The White House Fellows Program is America's most prestigious program for leadership and public service. Founded in 1964 by President Lyndon B. Johnson, the program offers exceptional young men and women first hand experience working at the highest levels of the Federal government. Fellows typically spend one year working as full-time, paid special assistants to senior White House Staff, the Vice President, Cabinet Secretaries, and other top-ranking government officials.

A tour through the Texas White House is not part of the ranch tour at this time. The bus tour will, however, drive past the home and make a brief stop in front to allow visitors off for a photo opportunity. The President and Mrs. Johnson donated their private home to the National Park Service but retained lifetime rights to use the house. Following the death of Mrs. Johnson on July 11, 2007, preparations have begun to make the home available for public tours.

The 2005 White House Conference on Aging was the fifth conference held. Previous White House Conferences on Aging were held in 1961, 1971, 1981, and 1995. Although the 1961 White House Conference on Aging was the first to be designated "White House," several national conferences held in the 1950's laid the foundation for this important event.
