Our insurance policy does not cover any damages done by people who rent the cottage. Therefore we have established a policy of only renting to "responsible" adults (ie. people who meet our risk management requirements). Families or mature adults are readily welcome. For our protection , you will be asked to complete a rental application form, sign a waiver and indemnification agreement, and pay a damage deposit (usually 50% of the rental fee).

Yes, but I ask you to consider this well. I have had quite a few groups who were disappointed because they found the place was too big for them. Restricted to a few runs, they did not do much skiing. Or they precariously waded the raging Burnie River in the summer only to find the bridge after a good bushwhack …These are big and serious mountains. A fair amount of mountaineering skills and experience are needed to move safely through them.

The word "lodge" means both a group of Masons meeting in some place and the room or building in which they meet. Masonic buildings are also sometimes called "temples" because much of the symbolism Masonry uses to teach its lessons comes from the building of King Solomon's Temple in the Holy Land. The term "lodge" itself comes from the structures which the stonemasons built against the sides of the cathedrals during construction.

Most people fly into Anchorage, rent a car, and then drive to Soldotna B&B Lodge (see below). However, you may also fly from Anchorage Airport to Kenai Airport (around a 15-20 minute flight which costs around $150-$175 per person). Then, you may either rent a car at the Kenai Airport or take a cab to Soldotna B&B Lodge. It is only about a 15 minute drive from the Kenai Airport to Soldotna B&B Lodge.

The various rentals offered are very different. Guests will choose their accommodations based on style, size, amenities, and price. Some will opt for a home, others a detached casita, and still others an attached condo, attached casita, or a lodge room. Remember, supply and demand will determine occupancy and rental rates.

The approximately 6,000 square foot lodge is gorgeous and is constructed of native stone exterior and a metal roof. The lodge houses ten (10) people very comfortably and includes five (5) separate bedrooms, each containing two (2) double beds, along with a full bathroom. Hunting rates are based on double occupancy.

Once your rental application has been accepted and just before you leave for your rental period, we will send you the information on obtaining the keys quot;Do it yourself" fishing trips fall under cottage rental. Our posted rental fees are on a per person basis, with a minimum charge (ie. everybody pays at least the minimum, some may pay more for large groups). Children under 5 years of age are free.

If the weather is kind, you'll ski from your lodge to the bottom of the Gully chair (approx 100m). You'll also ski back home down the gully or down the road from Frying Pan. If the snow is not up to scratch, you'll catch Gully chair back and walk the 100m or so back to your lodge.

Guides are optional for trips to the lodge. While many of our groups prefer to fish on their own, quite a few will take a guide out for some or all of their trip. The fishing is not difficult, but if you have never been to our lodge before, a guide can get you on the fish fast and teach you some of the techniques that work well. In addition,the guide can take your around the lake and fish a variety of spots so that you have a better idea of what's available.

It should be made of coated nylon, with factory-sealed seams.

The problem is that it is impossible for a tipi to hold the moisture in. The only way is to build an ozan that is all inclusive (covers the whole area of the lodge) with a very small opening over the fire. The tipi would need to be very small and the liner would need to be low to keep the sweating area small - and this defeats the function of the Tipi in its normal usage.

Yes! We rent bicycles at the school, for 500 yen per week. These can be very useful for traveling around the central area of the city, or for people whose accommodation is very close to the school. For people staying with a host family further away, your host family may provide a bicycle for your use. If borrowing a bicycle, be sure not to park it anywhere except official bicycle parking, as the city periodically sweeps up illegally parked bicycles, and impounds them.

Yes! The school rents cellphones for 1000 yen per week. Nothing more is required to receive phone calls, even from abroad, as receiving calls is free in Japan. However, to make calls, you need to buy prepaid "airtime", available from Softbank shops. The closest Softbank shop to the school is here. If you want to buy your own cellphone, Softbank is the only company still offering prepaid phones in Japan.

The Lodge Tower Guestrooms are oversized standard rooms. They are exactly like the regular guestrooms, but with an additional octagon sitting area. These rooms are available in Sago Cay, Conch Key, Boca Chica, and Big Pine Key. Rooms have views of the resort's marina, the gardens, or the courtyard pool.

Lodge Concierge Guestrooms are located in Sugar Loaf Key (building 6). Views from guestrooms in Sugar Loaf Key are of the resort's marina or the quiet pool. A concierge staff is located on the first floor of this building in the lobby next to the elevators. The concierge lounge is also located in this area, and features morning continental breakfast, afternoon snacks, evening appetizers, and twilight refreshers in the evening.
