Concord Law School accepts transfer credits from most law schools. Transfer students for the Juris Doctor Program will need to request credential evaluation from the Committee of Bar Examiners. Transfer students seeking to complete the Executive JD SM degree do not need to get a credential evaluation from the Committee of Bar Examiners and should apply directly to the Associate Dean of the Executive JDsm program for course transfer credit.

We are a regionally accredited college with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Our classes transfer to any accredited college. Specific classes must, however, meet program requirements at the college you plan to attend. We also have a number of specific articulation agreements with schools throughout the United States.

ONLY Ph.D. students can transfer a maximum of 45 units from other schools. Please refer to the EE Graduate Program Handbook for details. Comparing with other MS/PhD students, you do not need to care about the Quals in the first quarter and should focus more on finding an adviser. After two quarters, you can file a petition to take Quals if a regular faculty is willing to write you a recommendation. The petition requirements can be found in the EE Graduate Program Handbook.

Charter Oak has a liberal credit transfer policy. We will accept most credits that have been successfully completed at other regionally accredited institutions. This includes up to 90 semester credits from regionally accredited, two-year colleges. Exceptions include courses in physical education, freshman orientation, and developmental courses. Students with courses from accredited universities from a foreign country are strongly recommended to have their transcripts (Academic Records) translated into English by the school or an official translator before coming to the United States. If you are transferring to a Tennessee Board of Regents institution, then you are assured that your credits from Motlow will transfer. However, if you are transferring to an institution outside the Tennessee Board of Regents System, we advise that you check with that institution regarding the credits that you will want to transfer to them.

Answer: For students in the MS program only, you may, with our department’s approval, transfer up to six graduate credits from an accredited American university; courses would need to be evaluated by the department. Courses must have been taken within the last five years. Evaluation of courses would not be done until you have been accepted (matriculated) into our MS program. Students in the Advanced Certificate program may not transfer credits.

There are two types of courses related to transfer--courses that are part of the ColoradoGuaranteed State Transfer Curriculum, and those that are part of our AA/AS degree programs, transferable on a program-by-program and case by case basis.

Several factors will affect transfer of credit including where the coursework was completed, the grades received and the intended major at Oswego. The maximum number of credits that can be applied from a two-year college is 62 to 67; the maximum number from a four-year institution is 92 to 97. Evaluation of transfer credits is completed through the Registrar in consultation with the Dean and Program Director. Placement of a student into a program is dependent upon the amount of transfer credit granted. Please note that a student must earn a minimum of 30 credit hours at Trocaire to be eligible for a degree. A student must complete 50% of his / her course work here to be eligible for a Trocaire College Certificate.

Since the primary reason for a student’s training at Lane Institute of Health Sciences is to obtain the skills and knowledge necessary for specific careers, Lane Institute of Health Sciences courses have not been designed with transferability of credit in mind; therefore, Lane Institute of Health Sciences does not actively seek the acceptance of its credits by other institutions. While some local schools may accept credits earned at Lane Institute of Health Sciences, many will not.

Students must have all official transfer transcripts on file in the Admissions Office at Calhoun. A student can then request their transcripts to be evaluated by completing a Transcript Evaluation Request form and submitting it to the Admissions Office.
