What is Marshall College's philosophical focus? The College emphasizes cultural diversity (DOC) - it goes beyond that. Diversity is another word for opportunity. My comments about the academic diversity of my roomates are an example. The same is true for the size of the school - more students, more diversity, more opportunity. TMC works to ensure that diversity by giving students more freedom in selecting classes and fields of study.

Why Thurgood Marshall College? I chose TMC because it had the best housing, dining facilities, campus location, and proximity to the ocean. Although the other colleges have made changes to try and close this gap (Revelle and Muir have re-done their dining facilities and Warren has added dorms). Marshall is next to the massive RIMAC Sports Center, has great ocean sunsets at Oceanview dining.

What does a Thurgood Marshall College student major in? Anything you want to! The colleges are not set up by major or discipline. Any student at any college can major in whatever he or she wishes. A math major at Marshall does the same course work as a math major at Revelle. See Advanced Placement section in the Student Handbook

In order to be admitted to the Marshall Community and Technical College, you must fill out an admission application to the University Admissions Office in Old Main. On the application there is a place for you to indicate what you want to major in and that you want to pursue a two-year degree. If you have not been enrolled in any classes at Marshall Community and Technical College for at least one (1) year, you must apply for readmission.

If you have completed college credit from another college or university or wish to transfer from another college at Marshall, you will need to have your academic record and courses evaluated. If you are interested in pursuing a certificate or a two-year program in the Marshall Community and Technical College, you must have a GPA with no more than 12 quality points below a C (2.00), and you must take courses which apply to a certificate or a two-year degree.

Rev. Dr. Peter Marshall was born and raised in Scotland. He emigrated to the United States, studied for the ministry, and became pastor of the New York Avenue Presbyterian Church in Washington, DC. He served as the Chaplain of the Senate. It was he who initiated the Kirkin' o' the Tartan service in this country. He also served as the president of the Saint Andrew's Society of Washington, DC from 1944-48. Rev. Dr. Marshall's widow, Catherine, wrote his biography after his death.

The IBEAR MBA is an accelerated one-year international MBA program for mid-career managers. Participants complete 19 courses in five eight-week terms from August until mid July. USC Marshall all emphasizes Asia, and Latin America, in particular, in their push for further globalization strategy. IBEAR participants average 10 years of work experience (6 years minimum) and 33 years of age. It is one of the six MBA programs offered by the Marshall School of Business.

Computing is a broad discipline. All programs must specialize, particularly two year programs. Our CST program specializes and prepares graduates for careers as application programmers, systems analysts, or network administrators. The program constantly strives to remain current, using the latest technologies. Many courses are under continual updating as specific software technologies evolve. On average, approximately 30% of the program is modified/replaced annually.

There are scholarships available to Marshall Community and Technical College students. If they meet the requirements established by the Financial Aid Office, students are eligible to receive the academic scholarships given by the Financial Aid Office. Marshall Community and Technical College students who are enrolled for a minimum of 12 credit hours each semester can live in the dorms. You must inquire about housing with Residence Services at 800/438-5391.

Papers that do not meet the first criteria simply are not considered. If there is a problem with the last two criteria, then they are presented to the author and at such time he/she will be informed how the editors intend to proceed (either by asking for a revision, or letting them know of the editorial process). If a suitable revision cannot be had, then at that time the editors will inform the author that they have decided not to publish the article for the current edition.

Over the past few years we’ve seen how the Lord has given us favor within the Kurdish community. As result of much prayer we’ve sensed God leading us to put a majority of our focus on reaching the Kurdish community. This includes the focus of our Nashville outreaches. We want to continue to sense and build upon what God is doing. Your being a part of helping to open doors, building relationships and getting to know the Kurds dramatically helps our ministry to them.

I think there are implications. Bob Hoffman began working with individuals intuitively, healing emotional, physical and spiritual wounds. More than 35 years ago, Hoffman created the theory of the "Negative Love Syndrome" and the "Quadrinity" model to describe the basis of his work. As his success began to attract the interest of psychotherapists and other mental health professionals, they were able to point out parallels and differences between Hoffman's methodology and standard psychotherapeutic models.
