Flexible materials are not a suitable substitute for hooks or other rigid structures. Materials such as rope will tighten around the piercing, causing the skin to be pulled to one point and rip. More rigid items such as hooks are definitely better choices unless the goal is to tear free (for example in a ball dance or Sundance-type ceremony). Visual inspection of parts is particularly important if they are to be plated, since the bright surfaces produced by the buffing and plating operations make extremely small defects visible. Currently, Cool-Flex is not available for Harley Davidson applications. If however, you have a motorcycle application with a V-8 engine (Boss Hoss) the hose kit will work. The kit to use would be our standard 12" kit. Is it going to be cheaper if I buy a Cool-Flex kit, or if I just buy the parts I actually need? Is there extra stuff in the kit? Why do we have a feedback problem with our lapel mics? There can be a few answers although typically it is the lapel channel EQ which will be misused. Many times LO's will be boosted (sometimes considerably) to 'fatten' the voice. Other times HI's will be boosted to give the voice a 'hi-fi' type sound. These are bad practices and feedback is made worse due to the changing positions of the wearer. a rule EQ boosting should be kept to an absolute minimum. This is true of any vocal mic.
