Why does my transmission shift funny?
Galeana Chrysler JeepTechnology has made our vehicles a computer on wheels. Computers control how our transmissions shift and that is why it may feel like the shift pattern seems different. The transmission are designed to shift in a pattern that will give you the best fuel economy. The transmission computer also has a delayed first shift, stop/start bump, overdrive technology and a limp in mode.
