Support groups, counseling, respite care, medical services, educational resources, and a variety of community resources may be available to help meet ongoing needs or new needs that may have surfaced after the adoption finalization.

The FCPS consultants will be here for one week each month during the school year and will provide training and workshops for both parents and FCPS autism staff. Parent workshops will be offered on a monthly basis. The dates, times, and locations for these workshops will be posted on the website. FCPS autism staff will participate in monthly trainings that will focus on specific ABA/VB topics.

Answer: Usually, but not always. As we are not backyard breeders, but concerned about the improvement of our chosen breeds, our stud dogs may be from a far away location, such as Australia etc. Some of these breedings are done by frozen semen. We also routinely use dogs in the United States or far off Canadian provinces. Although you would be welcome to view them, the location may make it prohibitive for you. We will though, provide you with photos and information.

We welcome and encourage parent participation at LHN. There are many areas where parents' time and talents are needed. GALA (our major fundraiser), working in the concession stand, helping with our annual golf tournament, and chaperoning at events are just a few areas where parent involvement is needed and greatly appreciated.
