Can the installers take their shoes off before they enter my house?
FAQFor the safety of our installers we cannot remove our shoes to complete a delivery while in the house. We do carry slip-on cloth booties and moving blankets to protect your floors in your house. When we are working with water or gas The Home Depot and GE requires a shut-off valve for the installation to be completed. R.A.S. will not shut-off main water valves or gas valves due to liability concerns. Also, most city codes require a working shut-off valve to the appliance for safety concerns.
